The EU civilian mission in Armenia confirmed on the X social network, formerly known as Twitter, that there was an "exchange of fire" in their "area of ??responsibility" and that no one on the team was injured.

The information was denied by Azerbaijan, which noted that it "does not correspond to reality" and represents "another form of disinformation from the opposite side."

"We inform that the visits of the EU observers in the direction of the border, their movement routes, the coordinates in the area, as well as the registration plates of the cars are presented to the Azerbaijani side in advance," the Ministry stated. of Azerbaijani Defense.

The spokeswoman for the Armenian Foreign Ministry, Ani Badalyan, said Monday that the United Nations Security Council will hold an emergency meeting on Wednesday, at the request of Armenia, to discuss the deterioration of the humanitarian situation in Nagorno Karabagh, territory in dispute between the parties.
