The mythical algorithmic Fancy Monas by Edgardo Giménez arrive at arteBA

The Argentine Edgardo Giménez (Santa Fe, 1942), one of the most relevant Latin American artists and who has works in the New York museums MoMA and MET, will bring 1942 of his Fancy Monas, created algorithmically in conjunction with the Artbag interdisciplinary team, to MC Galería from September 1 to 3, within the framework of arteBA 2023.

After the successful inauguration at the Malba of his retrospective "There will be none the same", Giménez invites you to immerse yourself in the world of his cuteness with an impressive exhibition at the 32nd contemporary art fair that includes giant screens where his irreverent cutenesses will be the great hostesses.

The 1942 Fancy Monas created algorithmically in conjunction with the artbag interdisciplinary team, can be visited from September 1 to 3 at the MC Galería space, located at stand A36 in the main section of arteBA.

Giménez's project combines cutting-edge technologies with a first-rate historical heritage, opening new doors to the future of art. Fancy Monas reinvents the famous monkeys born in the 60s, with the irreverent and cheerful character that characterizes them, to bring them closer to the new generations and the digital world.
