The Cristo Redentor international pass, which connects Mendoza with Chile by national route 7, continues to be closed this Thursday due to weather conditions in the area and the accumulation of snow, while vehicular traffic was enabled to Puente del Inca, official sources reported.

Traffic on National Route 7 was enabled for all types of vehicles from Uspallata to Puente del Inca, so it is recommended to drive with caution due to snow blasting on the road and in shady sectors due to probable ice formation, they reported this Thursday from National Highway.

Likewise, drivers are reminded that driving through the Andean Corridor is with the mandatory carrying of chains and to pay attention since there are road equipment and personnel operating on sections of the route.

In this context, they also pointed out that it is impassable for all types of vehicles from Puente del Inca to the mouth of the Cristo Redentor International tunnel, which this Thursday continues to be closed due to weather conditions and accumulation of snow in the area.
