"The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and Banco do Brasil signed this Thursday, September 21, a letter of intent to make a financing program of 250 million dollars viable that is part of a Conditional Line of Credit for Investment Projects (CCLIP) of up to 1 billion dollars," the text says. The operation, which was announced during a meeting between the president of the IDB, Ilan Goldfajn, and the head of the Bank of Brazil, Tarciana Medeiros, will focus on connectivity and renewable energy sources, the note adds. The initiative is aligned with the bioeconomy pillar of Amazonia Siempre, the IDB program for the sustainable development of the Amazon region.
