The lawyer of the confessed but unimpeachable adolescent author of the crime of Joaquín Sperani, the 14-year-old boy murdered by a schoolmate of the same age, on June 29 in the Cordoba town of Laboulaye, requested before the court that the minor of age be returned to his parents, while the directors of the school where both attended were removed from their positions by order of the provincial Ministry of Education, judicial and ministerial sources reported this Thursday. The perpetrator of Sperani's murder, who, because he is only 14 years old, cannot be held accountable, remains housed in the Admission and Diagnostic Center (CAD), which depends on the Esperanza Complex in the city of Córdoba, but his legal representative, lawyer Raúl Palacios, He told Télam this Thursday that he requested the "cessation of the deprivation of his freedom and that he be returned to his parents." The lawyer specified that the proposal was based on a ruling from the Superior Court of Justice (TSJ), issued on September 25, which urges juvenile criminal judges to "seek other alternatives other than internment" in the Complex. Hope for the treatment of cases of minors who commit crimes and who, due to their age, are not punishable. As the lawyer explained, in that ruling, the TSJ says that minors "cannot be deprived of their freedom", so they now hope that the judge of Control, Childhood, Adolescence, Juvenile Criminal, Family and Gender Violence and Misdemeanors of Laboulaye, Sebastián Ignacio Moro, is issued on the request for "restitution to his parents."
