The 14-year-old teenager who confessed to having beaten to death his friend of the same age, Joaquín Sperani, last July in the Córdoba town of Laboulaye, was returned to the care of his parents, after spending almost four months in a center for minors in the provincial capital, a measure that was questioned today by the victim's mother, judicial sources reported. This was ordered by the Control, Childhood, Adolescence, Juvenile Criminal, Family Violence, Gender and Misdemeanors Court of Laboulaye, headed by Sebastián Moro. In a resolution, it was ordered that "the non-punishable young man be returned to his family environment under the care of his parents, in a residence located in another town, that is, outside of Laboulaye," according to the Córdoba Judicial Branch in its institutional website.
